Presets
A preset stores everything on this tab — VPS IP, all five stream ports, the MediaMTX API URL and the dashboard server address — together with the full stream path list. The password is never stored in a preset.Applying one replaces your current settings and your whole stream path list, so use “Add new…” to snapshot the current state first if you might want it back.
Stream URLs
These build every URL the dashboard shows. Changing them here does not change MediaMTX or frpc — those still need their own configs to match.
MediaMTX API
Where this backend reads live status from. It polls /v3/paths/list under this URL every 3s. Use the address the dashboard host can actually reach, which is the tunnelled one when MediaMTX runs elsewhere. The status line at the top of the page shows whether it works within a few seconds of saving.
Dashboard server
Saved now, applied the next time the service restarts with sudo systemctl restart cogtv-media-center. Set the bind address to 127.0.0.1 when a reverse proxy sits in front, so the port is not reachable from the internet; 0.0.0.0 accepts connections from anywhere. If you change the port, open the new one in the VPS firewall too.
